Chase RCMP investigating after suspects in stolen truck fuelled and fled

Chase RCMP are investigating after suspects in a stolen vehicle fueled and fled from a gas station in the North Shuswap. While on patrol near Squilax Anglemont Road at approximately 11:48 a.m. on Oct. 16, an officer noticed a dark green Ford F-250 with no front licence plate fuelling up at a gas station. Police database queries indicated the truck had been reported stolen from the Kamloops area. “As police approached, a man threw the fuel nozzle to the ground, jumped in the driver’s seat and fled, heading westbound on the Trans-Canada Highway,” Const.
