Donald Trump health fears mounting as he 'slumps over asleep' on live TV

Fears around Donald Trump's health have intensified after he was caught having a nap during a live television broadcast in the Oval Office. Health officials were delivering a lecture on proposals for reducing weight loss drug costs while a drowsy-looking Donald Trump slouched in his seat behind the desk and seemed to drift in and out of consciousness. Although Trump's eyes appeared marginally open, he was blinking sluggishly and rested his head against his chair as officials stood assembled around him – leaving C-SPAN viewers questioning whether he was awake. Medics have previously suggested he may have suffered a "stoke" . One viewer remarked: "When Joe [Biden] looks sleepy - fury. When Donald is knocked out on live TV - masterful gambit sir, pretending to sleep in front of millions will really p*** off those liberals!". Another quipped: "He's sawing logs through the entire press conference", reports the Express . "He looks like he is out cold. Could you imagine what Fox and the Republicans would say if Joe had a press conference and did this?" a further viewer observed. Meanwhile, the press conference descended into chaos when a top executive collapsed during the same live press conference. Officials rushed to help Novo Nordisk executive Gordon Findlay as the press were kicked out of the room. Novo Nordisk executive Gordon Findlay was standing behind the president when his knees buckled, with administration officials and pharmaceutical representatives rushing to his side to prevent him from hitting the floor. The White House stopped broadcasting the conference as the executive was attended to. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed Mr Findlay is "okay" and that the conference will resume. An official statement said: "During the Most Favored Nations Oval Office Announcement, a representative with one of the companies fainted. The White House Medical Unit quickly jumped into action, and the gentleman is okay. The Press Conference will resume shortly." Reporters in the Oval Office at the time before being rushed, said Dr Mehmet Oz - the administrator of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services - helped the executive to the ground to prevent him from hitting his head, and that Cabinet members elevated his legs.
