Nullagine’s new aquatic centre

Nullagine marked a milestone on Wednesday, November 12 with the official opening of the highly-anticipated Nullagine Aquatic Centre. The event brought the local community together for a day of celebration and fun. The opening saw a fantastic turnout, with residents of all ages participating in the activities throughout the afternoon. East Pilbara shire president Anthony Middleton officially opened the centre and said it was an important new hub for the community. “The Nullagine pool is more than a new facility, it’s a proper game-changer for this town,” Cr Middleton said. “It gives families a safe place to cool off, kids somewhere to learn and grow, and it brings the community together in a way that really matters out here. “We’re incredibly proud to deliver this for the people of Nullagine, and I want to thank everyone who came along. The smiles on the kids’ faces said it all.” The event was attended by representatives from Hancock Iron Ore, local police officers, community service providers, and shire staff who helped bring the project to life. The pool was made possible with support from the Federal Government and Hancock Iron Ore.
