Shah Rukh Khan Opens Up On Working With Deepika Padukone In King, Admits He Is 'Excited' Too

While everyone is eagerly waiting to watch their favourite stars reunite on screen, a social media user also asked SRK about the same during his recent ‘Ask SRK’ session on X (formerly Twitter). On Thursday, when Shah Rukh Khan conducted an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on X, one of the fans talked about King and wrote, “So excited to see you and DP together again.” To this, the Bollywood superstar responded by saying, “Me too haha.” Deepika Padukone Begins King Shoot In September, Deepika took to her Instagram handle and shared exciting news about reuniting with Shah Rukh Khan for King. She dropped a picture showing their hands clasped together and wrote, “The very first lesson he taught me almost 18 years ago while filming Om Shanti Om was that the experience of making a movie, and the people you make it with, matter far more than its success. I couldn’t agree more and have applied that learning to every decision I’ve made since. And that’s probably why we’re back making our 6th movie together?” What Do We Know About King? I’ve been wanting to do a film like that for some time, and I really wanted to do a film like this for seven, eight years. We just felt Sujoy would be the right choice, because we wanted it to be very emotionally correct. We are all coming together to make a cool, massy, action, emotional film.” Later, during an event in Abu Dhabi, SRK added, “I will be shooting it for a couple of months. My director, Siddharth Anand, is very strict. He made Pathaan also. He has asked me not to reveal what we are doing. I can’t tell you but I can assure you that it will be entertaining.
