Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left baffled by a 'struggle' Lewis Cope is facing - but it isn't actually his fault. The former Emmerdale star was back in the ballroom on Saturday night (October 25) having made it through to week five of the BBC One dance contest alongside partner Katya Jones. The pair have had a successful run in the competition so far and that only continued as Icons Week took place live on the show, with Lewis channelling Johnny Cash. Dancing the quickstep to Ring Of Fire, Lewis and Katya scored 34 points during the latest live show which paid tribute to a number of the world’s biggest music stars, including: Beyonce, Harry Styles and Celine Dion. Judge Craig Revel Horwood said: “I absolutely loved it, it was clean, it had flight. You are incredible," while Motsi Mabuse added: “This is how you open a show. This was so on top, I absolutely love the way you work with music. "I love how you’ve developed your ballroom, especially dancing in connection with your dance partner. Perfect start of the evening. Well done." It is not the first time the pair have landed on top after previously scoring 37 points for their paso double to The Plaza of Execution from the film The Mask of Zorro. But Strictly fans couldn't help but point out that there is one judge that Lewis seemingly struggles to impress. @thepinkjellybaby asked: "Why does Shirley really struggle to say anything positive to him?" @karendearlove1 said: "Shirley what is wrong with you? Lewis best dance of the night." @muchmoresocial commented: "I agree that Shirley is a bit ‘off’ with Lewis - or is it Katya? Not sure. Anyway, I love their dancing.
