Strictly Come Dancing's Tess Daly's 'major mistake' immediately picked up on by fans

Strictly Come Dancing's Tess Daly appeared to make a huge mistake during the special Blackpool show - and it didn't go unnoticed by fans. The presenter, who is leaving the show at the end of this year along with co-host Claudia Winkleman, was interviewing Danny Mac and Ashley Roberts at the side of the Tower Ballroom when she made an unfortunate slip. The former finalists will participate in a special routine alongisde fellow finalists Jay McGuiness and Layton Williams on tomorrow night's show - but Tess appeared to officially reveal the Sunday night programme isn't live with her comments. But she later appeared to slip up and said: "We can't wait to see you perform later on. Thank you so much for coming." Tess then awkwardly paused as there appeared to be problems with the autocue. Viewers immediately noticed the apparent error and took to X to comment. One fan said: "You can pinpoint the exact moment Tess realises she's f****** up by officially revealing the Sunday show isn't live." "Obsessed with tessbot breaking after she said ‘later on’ instead of ‘tomorrow night’ #strictly," another wrote. A third commented: "Those faces when Tess messed up," while another viewer said: "That's the first time I've seen a human being buffering #Strictly." A fifth echoed: "Oops, Tess just glitched. #Strictly," and a sixth viewer asked: "Did Tess just shutdown?" Strictly Come Dancing : The Results Show returns on Sunday night at 7.15pm on BBC One but there will be a huge change. It was announced that there will be no dance off and all of the celebrities will go straight through to next week after it was confirmed La Voix had been forced to pull out due to injury.
