London, Soho office.About the roleDear Frances has an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to join a growing luxury British brand with global reach. As Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building the Dear Frances brand through event organisation, press relations and a strong online presence.Reporting directly to the Head of Brand, you will be responsible for building the Dear Frances communications strategy; implementing and tracking influencer coverage, building strong press and industry relations, manage VIP activities and oversee day to day PR activity. Candidates must have a strong strategic luxury fashion PR and talent background with an impressive track record of success.This is an extremely attractive role for an experienced candidate who is passionate about luxury fashion and would be interested to join a fast-growing business within a dynamic and international team. Your role will contribute to enhancing and maintaining brand consistency, driving awareness and engagement. The role will require you to manage the daily running of the press office and press assistant.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Head of Brand to execute the combined communications and content strategy. Ensuring consistency across all PR, influencer, VIP and event channels.Proactively pitch target product placement and features to grow visibility of brand through target press coverage and organic influencer content.Oversee all aspects of day-to-day PR activities, managing tracking of coverage, proactive product placement and VIP opportunities with stylists.  Coordinate events from press and industry to VIC including product launches. Maintain up to date industry databases.Work closely with the Content Manager to generate content to be pitched to press network in relation to key brand moments.Co-ordinate efforts with the e-commerce team to support product launches.Nurture and develop relationships with relevant VIP, global talent, growing monthly target OTS through gifting, events and targeted initiatives.Oversee all press sample loans and stock volumes.Skills, Experience and QualificationsA minimum of 4 years experience in fashion PR with an established network of press contacts.Bachelor degree required in advertising, PR, marketing, communication or related field.A business-minded individual with strong understanding of fashion branding, digital marketing and communications.A confident and self-starter person to be ambassador of the brand.Very strong communication skills with excellent use of written English, including ability to write and edit press releases, designer and media alerts.Well-organised and efficient person with good time management and prioritisation skills and the ability to summarise and communicate key information clearly.A team player who likes to work in a very dynamic environment.Eager to adopt responsibilities and take on new challenges.Social media savvy.Next Steps1.
