UNRWA Warns of Worst Humanitarian Crisis in Decades in Occupied the West Bank

New York, November 26 (QNA) - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that the occupied West Bank is experiencingآ its worst humanitarian crisis in decades.

UNRWA warned of further deterioration as Israeli occupation forces continue to raid Palestinian towns, demolish homes and carry out arrest campaigns, alongside a rise in settler attacks backed by the Israeli occupation army.

"It's the worst humanitarian crisis in the occupied West Bank for decades. More than 12,000 children remain forcibly displaced, and 47 have been killed this year," the agency said in a statement posted on X.

The UN agency announced Monday that the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip remains catastrophic despite the ceasefire, noting that Israel is preventing the entry of its international staff and restricting the delivery of aid, resulting in a backlog of approximately 6,000 food trucks at the crossings.
