Why Fans Thought Taylor Swift, Kylie Kelce Were Next New Heights Guests

“New Heights” fans were fooled by the possibility of Taylor Swift and Kylie Kelce teaming up for a very special podcast episode.

Rumors swirled on Tuesday, November 18, that Swift, 35, and Kylie, 33, could be Jason and Travis Kelce’s next podcast guests thanks to an Instagram post shared by the official “New Heights” account. “Tune in to tomorrow’s episode to find out which special guests are making their New Heights debut next week 👀,” read the caption.

The tease also included a photo of Jason, 38, and Travis, 36, with their headphones on. In between them were the silhouettes of the two special guests for the Monday, November 24, episode.

“TAYLOR & KYLIE!?!? Please!?!? 🙏,” one fan wrote in the comments section, while another simply added, “OHHHH SNAPPPP.”

Others, however, pointed out that neither the pop star nor Kylie would be making their debuts on the podcast. Swift appeared on “New Heights” in August — weeks before news broke of her engagement to Travis — to announce her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl. Kylie, meanwhile, has been a frequent guest and previously held the record for the most-watched “New Heights” episode. (She was dethroned by Swift this summer.)

During the Wednesday, November 19, installment of their podcast, Jason and Travis revealed their guests’ identities: Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson.

“Maybe two of the most demanded guests of all time,” Jason said, as Travis teased that the women are “so much fun.”

While a collab between Swift and Kylie isn’t in the works (yet), fans have plenty to look forward to with Andrews, 47, and Thompson, 43. The friends and “Calm Down” cohosts were vocal about their support for Swift and Travis as a couple before they officially began dating.

“Taylor, I don’t know what you’re doing in your life right now besides rocking the world [on The Eras Tour],” Andrews said on an August 2023 episode of the pair’s podcast. “Please, try our friend Travis. He is fantastic.”

One month later, Swift made her first appearance at a Kansas City Chiefs game — and the rest is history.
