Money laundering allegation: TikToker Jarvis threatens legal action against Peller

The management of popular TikTok creator Amadou Elizabeth, widely known as Jadrolita or Jarvis, has threatened to take legal action against fellow creator Hamzat Habeeb, also known as Peller, over allegations linking her to money laundering. During a recent TikTok livestream, Peller alleged that money laundering takes place on the platform through its gifting system and suggested that Jarvis was involved in such activities. Clips from the livestream have circulated on social media, with Peller claiming he initially believed Jarvis was wealthy until she “revealed the secret.” ALSO READ: Police arrest seven kidnap suspects, rescue victims in Delta He also alleged that a “gifter” who supported him during a livestream once offered a 50:50 share of the money generated from TikTok gifting—an offer he said he declined—citing it as an example of how people allegedly launder money through gifting on the app. Although both creators later appeared to reconcile following their recent social media interactions, Jarvis’s management, Aiso Entertainment, has dismissed the allegations as false and defamatory. In a statement shared on Sunday via its Instagram handle, #aisohub, the management described the claims as “patently false and malicious,” maintaining that Jarvis had never been involved in any illegal financial activity. “The management of Jadrolita, alongside Jadrolita herself, unequivocally and categorically refutes this egregious claim in its entirety,” the statement read. It further stressed that Jarvis had “never engaged in any form of illicit financial conduct” and demanded that Peller issue a public apology within 48 hours. “We hereby demand that Peller and his management issue an immediate, unconditional, and publicly disseminated apology to Jadrolita and her team,” Aiso said, warning that failure to do so would result in legal action. The management added that the allegation amounted to reputational sabotage and stated that the matter would not be ignored. ALSO READ TOP STORIES FROM NIGERIAN TRIBUNE

‘Christian genocide’: Kwankwaso reacts to Trump’s invasion threat against Nigeria

…calls for diplomatic engagement, unity among Nigerians Former Kano State governor and 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, has called on Nigerians to remain united in the face of growing tensions following threats from the United States over the nation’s security situation. In a post on X on Sunday, Kwankwaso expressed concern about recent comments by the U.S. President Donald Trump, who had designated Nigeria as a “country of particular concern.” He stressed that Nigeria remains a sovereign nation confronting various security challenges that cut across religious, ethnic, and political lines. The former governor urged the United States to support Nigeria with advanced technology and intelligence to combat insecurity instead of issuing threats that could worsen divisions within the country. He also advised the Nigerian government to appoint special envoys and permanent ambassadors to engage diplomatically with the U.S. and protect Nigeria’s interests on the international stage. Kwankwaso appealed to citizens to embrace unity and solidarity, describing the current situation as a time for collective strength rather than division. This is coming after Trump, in a post on his Truth Social account on Saturday, instructed the U.S. War Department to prepare for a possible strike in Nigeria. He accused the Nigerian government of turning a blind eye to what he described as the “genocide of Christians” across the country. Trump warned that the United States would immediately halt all aid and assistance to Nigeria if the attacks on Christians continue. He also indicated that America might intervene militarily to eliminate what he called “Islamic terrorists” responsible for the killings. “If the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the U.S.A. will immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, ‘guns-a-blazing,’ to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities,” Trump wrote. He further stated, “I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action. If we attack, it will be fast, vicious, and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack our CHERISHED Christians! WARNING: THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT BETTER MOVE FAST!” ALSO READ TOP STORIES FROM NIGERIAN TRIBUNE
