The rise of artificial intelligence (AI) has allowed software developers and engineers to not only ease their work but also take shortcuts during the hiring process. Now, a Redditor has divided the internet after claiming that developers from India cheated the most during interviews. Watch: Six injured as LPG cylinder explodes in Siddipet

Siddipet: Six members of of a family sustained burn injuries when an LPG gas cylinder exploded in Akunur village on Tuesday morning. Shette Kavya attempted to light the gas stove when the gas started leaking out and it resulted in an instant explosion. Kavya, her husband Bhaskar, their three children Pranavi, Krithika, Harishini and Bhaskar's father Ayyallam sustained injuries. The house gutted as the explosion led to fire. Valuables in the house were reduced into ashes. The locals rushed to their rescue and the victims have been shifted to the government hospital in Siddipet after providing first aid in a local hospital. Running Old Vehicles To Get Costlier As Fitness Fees Jump Tenfold

The central government on Tuesday has introduced a sharp increase in vehicle fitness-test fees, raising charges by as much as ten times under amendments to the Central Motor Vehicles Rules. The new fee structure applies nationwide and is effective immediately.A key change is the shift in the age threshold for higher fitness fees—from 15 years to 10 years. The government has also created three distinct age categories for vehicles: 10–15 years, 15–20 years, and more than 20 years. Fees rise progressively with each category, replacing the earlier flat-rate structure that primarily applied to vehicles over 15 years old.The steepest increases fall on heavy commercial vehicles. A truck or bus older than 20 years will now be charged Rs 25,000 for its fitness test, compared with Rs 2,500 earlier. Medium commercial vehicles in the same age bracket will pay Rs 20,000, up from Rs 1,800.Charges for light motor vehicles over 20 years old have been raised to Rs 15,000, while three-wheelers in the same category will now pay Rs 7,000. For two-wheelers more than 20 years old, the fee has risen over threefold—from Rs 600 to Rs 2,000.Even vehicles under 15 years of age will see higher charges. According to the revised Rule 81, motorcycles will pay Rs 400, light motor vehicles Rs 600, and medium and heavy commercial vehicles Rs 1,000 for their fitness certification.The government says the updated structure is intended to accelerate the removal of old and unsafe vehicles from Indian roads and to strengthen the national vehicle scrappage policy. Truck rams into jeep in Hyderabad’s Begumpet, passengers injured

Hyderabad: A major road accident occurred near the Begumpet bus stop on Tuesday morning. According to available information, a heavily loaded truck lost control and rammed into a Mahindra Thar vehicle moving ahead of it. The impact was so severe that the rear portion of the jeep was badly crushed, and the truck overturned on the spot. Police reached the spot immediately after receiving information and took up rescue operation. The injured were immediately shifted to a nearby private hospital for treatment. A new video recorded by the Delhi car blast main accused and suicide bomber, Dr. Umar Nabi, who was driving the i20 car that was used as a 'vehicle-borne IED' in the terror attack, has come to the fore. The video is believed to have been recorded shortly before the November 10 Delhi car blast that claimed 15 lives and injured dozens. The video is a crucial new piece of evidence for the investigating agencies probing the Delhi car bombing as it shows Umar openly supporting suicide bombings and discussing extremist ideology. Investigators believe it reflects his deep radicalisation and long-standing planning for such an attack. Umar’s Message On Suicide Bombing In the video, Umar can be seen addressing the idea of suicide attacks and how the concept is "misunderstood". He described that suicide bombing is a matrydom operation when someone assumes they will die at a certain time and place and go against natural death. "The biggest mistake is that people don't understand what Liberia bombing (or the idea of suicide bombing) really is. It is not democratic in any way, nor can it be accepted in any civilized society. There are many contradictions and numerous arguments against it,” Dr. Umar Nabi said. He further continued that the "biggest issue with suicide attacks is that when a person believes that they are definitely going to die at a certain time and place, they enter a dangerous mindset. Martyrdom operation is when they put themselves in a position where they believe that death is their only destination." “But the reality is that such thinking or such a situation cannot be accepted in any democratic and humane system, because it is against the basic principles of life, society and law,” he added. Mother Confirms Son’s Radicalisation According to sources, Umar’s mother told investigators she had long suspected her son was becoming radicalized. She said he often went days without contacting the family and, shortly before the incident, specifically asked them not to call him. Despite noticing these changes, the family never approached police about his behaviour. Police identified Umar as a resident of Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir. A trained doctor employed at the Al Falah University in Faridabad, he had been secretly working with a Jaish-e-Mohammed-linked module. Before the Delhi blast, authorities had already arrested several of his associates and also recovered nearly 2,900 kilograms of explosives, which suggested they were preparing for a much larger and coordinated attack. Nabi had known links with a white-collar terror module that was busted following the recovery of explosives, primarily from Faridabad in Haryana on November 10. Meanwhile, the NIA on Sunday announced the arrest of Amir Rashid Ali in whose name the explosive-laden i20 involved in the blast was registered. Ali, also a resident of Kashmir, was arrested from Delhi in the first arrest by the NIA and sent to a 10-day custody. The NIA has also described Nabi as a suicide bomber.

ED Raids Al-Falah University Amid Probe Into Terror Funding

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is carrying out searches at 25 locations in Delhi and Faridabad linked to the terror-tainted Al-Falah University and individuals associated with it, as part of its investigation into the 10 November Red Fort blast. PMLA Case Registered Over Financial Irregularities The agency has registered a PMLA case concerning financial irregularities involving the university, where Red Fort bomber Dr Umar un Nabi and others accused in the Jaish-e-Mohammad-linked Faridabad terror module were employed, along with the institute’s owners. University Headquarters Among Premises Searched Raids are underway at the university’s Delhi headquarters. The ED began search operations at 5 AM, targeting trustees, related persons and entities. By 5:15 AM, officials had launched a coordinated action across more than 25 premises connected to the Al-Falah group in the Delhi–NCR region. One FIR involves allegations of cheating; the second concerns forgery-related offences. Summons Issued to University Chairman On Monday, police issued two summonses to university chairman Javed Ahmad Siddiqui in connection with the FIRs, both filed on the basis of a complaint from the University Grants Commission (UGC). Investigators said Siddiqui’s statement is essential to clarify several inconsistencies regarding the university’s functioning and the activities of individuals linked to it. Relative of Chancellor Arrested in Separate Case Meanwhile, the chancellor’s younger brother, Hamood Ahmad Siddiqui, was arrested in Hyderabad on Monday in relation to a nearly 25-year-old fraud case in Madhya Pradesh. Kyrie Irving may be poised to lace up his sneakers this season, even despite the Dallas Mavericks’ flat start. The injured Mavericks star Irving is ahead of his schedule in his recovery from a torn ACL, Marc J. Spears of ESPN said Monday during an appearance on “NBA Today.” Spears even went so far to say that Irving could play “right now” if Dallas was in the postseason. “He’s working out with the purpose of playing this season,” said Spears of Irving, per Mike Curtis of the Dallas Morning News. “Someone close to him told me if it was the playoffs, he could play right now.” Irving, the nine-time NBA All-Star, suffered a torn ACL in his left knee during a game last season in early March. ACL tears are roughly 9-12 month injuries on average, and Irving is roughly at the eight-and-a-half-month point of his recovery. That said, the Mavericks are down in the dumps right now and have started the season at a miserable 4-10 on the year. If Dallas does not quickly get into the playoff picture in a brutal Western Conference, there will not be much reason for them to rush back Irving, who will be turning 34 years old in a few months. Over the summer, Irving sounded a bit more pessimistic about the potential of a return this season. But over the span of the few months since then, it appears that the former No. 1 overall pick has made some tangible progress in his recovery (though Irving’s ultimate return will likely be tied directly to the Mavericks’ place in the standings).
