Job Title: Program ManagerLocation: Markham, ON (3x onsite a week)Employment Type: Full TimeJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager – Data to lead strategic data transformation initiatives. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in program and project management, particularly within the insurance and financial services sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering large-scale data programs, managing cross-functional teams, and driving results within scope, budget, and timeline. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage large-scale data programs, including Enterprise Data Warehouse and Data Visualization projects.

Develop and maintain integrated project plans, budgets, and resource allocations. Manage stakeholder expectations, including executive-level communication and reporting. Ensure adherence to data governance and compliance standards in collaboration with Enterprise Data Architecture. Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring successful delivery of program objectives. Oversee scope management, change control, and quality assurance processes. Drive financial management, including cost modeling, budget tracking, and expenditure control. Facilitate effective communication across internal teams, vendors, and clients. Support and influence project decisions using data-driven insights. Maintain comprehensive project documentation and governance artifacts. Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. PMP Certification is mandatory.

15+ years of experience in program and project management, with budgets exceeding $10 million. Proven experience delivering strategic data transformation programs in the insurance or financial sector. Hands-on experience with data warehouse, data lake, and data visualization implementations. At least one project experience in the government sector is preferred. Strong understanding of data collection, correlation, and analysis. Technical SkillsProficiency in tools such as SAS, IBM, Informatica, Microsoft, AWS, Qlik. Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint. Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
