KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESDevelops the business cases with necessary market assessment information, current market practices, product offerings, competition strategies, sales channels and risk mitigate. Liaises with Credit Risk in formulating and maintaining credit policies that suits the customer needs without compromising the risk. Liaises with change, Operations & Technology teams for development of processes, infrastructure and IT capability. Liaises with Finance Planning & Analytics for developing and maintaining the detailed product profitability reports. Post launch, the requirement will be effective portfolio monitoring. Monitors performance of Product Line against key measures. Report results with recommendations about performance.
Ensures up to date knowledge is kept about developing technologies and implemented as appropriate. Supervises the Product Mix, and Product positioning activities of all existing and new products. Manages product performance against the set targets. Manages the key aspects of the income statements such as revenues, expenses, losses and provisions etc. Implements governance, risk, compliance and control in line with ADIB group policies. Interfaces with credit risk and operations to ensure that there is a broad understanding of the product processing requirements and meeting business set targets.
Conducts regular surveys for products and services of the Peer Group for all related products. Handles all customer complaints received by complaints unit/branches/call centre and ensure proper resolution within the approved turnaround time. Follows up on completion of all underlying tasks with business partners which involves the implementation of end-to-end process for new products and services, working with products, channels, operations and IT to ensure that they are fit for purpose and implemented timorously and effectivelyProvides daily monitoring reports during all campaigns.
Ensures Governance, Compliance, Risk and Control are implemented and adhered to meet Group Standards as well as CBE regulationsQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience: University/College Degree. For Assistant Manager: 4+ Years of experience preferably in a product management department multinational/banking background. For Product Manager: 8+ Years of experience preferably in product management.
