Support the origination, evaluation, execution and negotiation of Accenture strategic acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, and divestitures, across EuropeDevelop acquisition target evaluation criteria, collaborating with business strategy teamsAnalyse market landscape to find appropriate targets according to specified criteriaBusiness and financial analysis of potential merger and acquisition targets to judge viability and “fit”Develop financial models which demonstrate impact of M&A on Accenture economicsPrepare target company valuationsPerform appropriate finance due diligence exercises (including interaction with specialist teams), and coordinate across multi-disciplined work streams for other areas of due diligenceSupport negotiation of key transaction documents.
Prepare reports for senior Accenture executive team and Board reviewCommunicate with target management/owners and their advisorsTrain other Corporate Development team members and share knowledge and techniquesWe are looking for the following experience:
Experience gained in Big4 or in Mergers & Acquisitions or a Corporate Development departmentUniversity degree in finance, or a relevant degree in business, and/or ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA qualifiedStrong programme management skillsExcellent analytical (including advanced Excel modelling skills), writing, and verbal skillsProfessional maturity and personal integrityRobust communication and collaboration skillsStrong work ethic and ambitionProficiency in English; other European languages will be an advantageWillingness to travel for business across EuropeSet yourself apart:
