Job DescriptionSO/ Sotogrande, a luxury hotel located in the beautiful coastal town of Sotogrande, Spain, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our discerning guests while leading and motivating our restaurant staff.
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentationLead, train, and motivate the restaurant team to deliver outstanding customer serviceManage staff scheduling, assignments, and performance evaluationsHandle guest inquiries, special requests, and resolve any issues promptly and professionallyEnsure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe dining environmentAssist in menu planning, inventory management, and cost controlCollaborate with the kitchen team to maintain efficient communication between front and back of houseMonitor and maintain the quality of food and beverage serviceImplement and uphold SO/ Sotogrande's luxury hospitality standardsAssist in organizing and executing special events and promotionsQualificationsMinimum 2-3 years of experience in restaurant supervision or management, preferably in a luxury hospitality settingStrong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staffExcellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable dining experiencesProficiency in restaurant management software and point-of-sale systemsSolid understanding of food and beverage operations, including knowledge of Spanish and international cuisineExperience with wine pairing and beverage serviceStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesExcellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Spanish is highly advantageousHigh school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferredCurrent Food Safety CertificationAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysFamiliarity with luxury hospitality standards and practicesAdditional InformationAttractive incentive plan.
