With over 50 blue-chip customers in Japan served by our London team, we are now establishing a local presence to drive growth.In this role, you’ll proactively partner with existing customers to identify opportunities for cross-sell and seek out brand new customers with your prospecting prowess in your territory. You’ll identify and engage with the decision makers within an organization to uncover their needs, demonstrate the value of our products, win deals and assist them through the implementation process. Play your part in a fast-growing organization known for excellence, profitability, and stability.What you’ll do:Heavy prospecting of potential customers, leveraging your prospecting techniques to effectively continue your approach on engaging customers while nurturing relationships to drive interest and advance our sales goalsProactively identify, establish, and maintain relationships with prospective and existing NAVEX customers to generate new business opportunities. Promote cross-sell and upsell initiatives by presenting the value of NAVEX’s integrated risk and compliance management platform and solutions in a clear, consultative mannerDeliver persuasive presentations and SaaS technology demonstrations by storytelling actual business scenarios in an engaging and compelling manner to key decision makers to impress prospects and customers with your industry and product knowledgeIdentify and meet customer needs with strong discovery and consultative value sellingEffectively develop and prioritize a pipeline of opportunity beyond what is needed to achieve your sales goals, accurately forecasting salesAttend initial in-person 1-week intensive training and on-going virtual weekly product trainings to stay well informed on industry trends and up to date on NAVEX’s always evolving solutions Consistently meet or exceed your sales quota by effectively negotiating and closing opportunities with professionalism and integrityAdvance NAVEX's goals and operational effectiveness by learning and using AI-based toolsWhat you’ll need:8+ years of a successful B2B sales career track and experience targeting Enterprise customers (6,000+ company headcount)Fluent in business-level Japanese, with the ability to communicate effectively with local Japanese customers, both verbally and in writingStrong business-level English communication skills, to collaborate effectively with global teams across the broader organizationDeep understanding of Japanese culture, etiquette, and communication stylesExperience selling SaaS based solutionFamiliarity with value selling, strategic selling, formal training or understanding of best practice models such as Miller Heiman, Solution Selling, SPIN or ChallengerA passion for learning – the risk and compliance space are rapidly evolvingStrong presentation skills, having a persuasive and patient, yet compelling and compassionate approach. You’ll be forging strong relationships with customers and must be able to earn their trustStrong prospecting, planning, organizational and time management skills.
