Position OverviewThis role plays a critical part in driving growth within the mid-market segment by creating new business opportunities through both partner collaboration and direct, high-touch customer engagement. The position focuses on delivering customer success by leveraging Cisco’s comprehensive portfolio of networking and related solutions.Working closely with the account sales team and solution engineers, the Account Executive will primarily support Cisco’s networking portfolio while also contributing to cross-architecture growth across the broader Cisco portfolio. Success in this role requires building strong, trusted relationships with customers and partners while navigating a dynamic and competitive market environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAchieve assigned quota targets for the Mid-market account list within a designated territoryOwn full responsibility for managing sales opportunities through the entire sales cycleHighly transactional role, qualifying and managing opportunities generated by partners and MarketingWorks with partners to drive accountability for effective opportunity management and deal closureStay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive insights to inform day-to-day engagements with the partnersMaintain a comprehensive understanding of Cisco’s full product portfolio to deliver the “One Cisco Story”Own responsibility for accurate forecasting and adherence to sales operational best practicesDaily utilize Cisco’s Tech Stack, Agentic AI, and Sales Plays to scale and optimize customer engagementDevelop and execute growth strategies based on industry verticals and company size within the assigned territoryLead account planning and business reviews in collaboration with internal teams to maximize outcomesExpand business through targeted customer engagement and effective opportunity and pipeline managementPlan and deliver partner enablement initiatives, including training sessions, customer meetings, and solution demonstrationsCollaborate cross-functionally to drive integrated sales motions across Cisco architecturesDesired Profile, Experience & SkillsMinimum 3 years of sales experience covering mid-market customers (5+ years preferred)Experience in account planning, pipeline development, and demand generation activitiesAbility to engage and communicate effectively with customers and partners, including senior stakeholders and decision-makersPositive, results-driven mindset with a willingness to take on challenges and continuously learnStrong team orientation with the ability to consider broader organizational and stakeholder perspectivesBusiness-level English proficiency required (verbal and written); Korean fluency requiredPosition HighlightsFrontline of a High-Growth Market — Lead Cisco’s strategic expansion in the mid-market segmentPartner-Driven Ecosystem Collaboration — Work closely with regional partners and distributors to build a strong business ecosystemBroad Portfolio Leverage — Utilize Cisco’s diverse portfolio, including AI and networking solutions, to deliver a unified “One Cisco” value propositionHigh Ownership and Impact — Drive end-to-end sales activities, from strategy development to pipeline management and executionDynamic Career Growth — Develop professionally in a fast-changing and innovative technology environmentGlobal Exposure — Collaborate with APJC and global teams while building an international professional network국가보훈대상자는 관련 법령에 따라 우대합니다.Qualified veterans and eligible dependents will be given hiring preference in accordance with applicable laws.Why Cisco?At Cisco, we’re revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era – and beyond.
