Ask Aletta is an AI-powered search engine that helps healthcare professionals find reliable medical information in seconds.We started from a problem our co-founder Tijs (pediatrician) experienced firsthand: doctors needed quick access to guidelines, protocols, and clinical resources, but this information was scattered across dozens of sources. Finding the right answer often meant searching through multiple websites, PDFs, and reference materials - or simply not finding it at all.We used the AI revolution to solve this - building a unified search and discovery platform specifically trained on medical guidelines and clinical resources. Instead of juggling multiple sources or settling for incomplete information, doctors get precise answers to the practical questions they face in their daily work.The RoleWe're looking for our first Account Executive - someone who will own our sales pipeline and close the deals that our product-led growth motion generates. This is a foundational commercial role where you'll professionalize our sales process while working closely with our founding team.Our sales model is unique: individual doctors discover and love Ask Aletta organically, creating warm opportunities at practices and hospitals. Your job is to convert these signals into closed deals.You'll take ownership of the full sales cycle, build systematic processes, and help us scale from founder-led sales to a repeatable commercial engine.TasksOwn and manage the complete sales pipeline from qualified lead to closed dealFollow up on warm inbound leads generated through our product-led growth motionProactively reach out to practices and hospitals showing high product engagementConduct discovery calls, demos, and contract negotiationsBuild and maintain a clean, accurate and weighted pipeline in our CRM (Attio)Create and optimize sales materials: pitch decks, proposals, contracts, case studiesDevelop systematic follow-up processes to move deals through longer sales cyclesIdentify patterns in what works and feed insights back to the founding teamCollaborate closely with founders on strategic deals and complex negotiationsWork with our Head of Growth to optimize the handoff from marketing to salesRequirements3-5 years B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS or technologyProven track record of consistently hitting or exceeding quotaExperience managing full sales cycles with deal sizes €5k-€50kHands-on experience with modern CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Attio, or similar)Comfortable with longer sales cycles (6-12 months) and complex stakeholder landscapesSelf-starter who can work independently while knowing when to ask for supportFluent in Dutch and EnglishBonus points:Experience in healthcare or other regulated industriesFamiliarity with product-led growth or bottom-up sales motionsAI-first mindset: using tools like ChatGPT, Clay, or other AI workflows in your daily sales processExperience selling AI products or emerging technology to regulated industriesBenefitsCompetitive compensation with meaningful equityMinimum 25 holiday days (we encourage taking more when you need it)Ownership of the entire NL sales process - you'll build this from the ground upDirect collaboration with founders on strategy and key dealsBudget for tools and professional developmentRemote-first work culture with ~2 days/week together at our Amsterdam office (opening soon)Opportunity to grow into a sales leadership role as we scaleFlexible, results-oriented cultureYou're not joining an established sales machine - you're building it.
