Account Executive

Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Account Executive to manage our full set of accounts. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience and be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will play a crucial role in supporting our manufacturing and service operations by managing daily accounting functions and contributing to our month-end closing processes.Key Responsibilities· Manage the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).· Perform daily accounting operations, including processing invoices, supplier payments, and staff expense claims.· Handle month-end and year-end closing procedures in a timely manner.· Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and other balance sheet schedules.· Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.· Assist in managing inventory records and cost of goods sold (COGS) related to our manufacturing activities.· Prepare and submit SST returns and assist with other statutory compliance matters.· Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries.· Assist the Finance Manager with financial reporting and analysis as required.Qualifications and Requirements· Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in managing a full set of accounts.· Education: Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, LCCI, or a related field.· Skills:o Strong understanding of accounting principles and Malaysian financial reporting standards.o Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, MYOB, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.o Meticulous, highly organized, and able to work independently to meet deadlines.· Preferred:o Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or technical service environment is highly advantageous.
