Job Description

The Morphe Account Executive plays a critical role in driving brand success across their assigned territory. This position is responsible for leading, coaching and inspiring a team of freelance beauty artists while partnering closely with Ulta Beauty leadership and team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences, brand relationships and strong sales results. The ability to motivate, educate & influence freelancers and Ulta Beauty employees to drive sales and grow our brand following, is key to our success. The ideal candidate is a balance of artistry, sales leadership, business acumen and operational excellence, thriving in both people-facing and results-driven environments.In-store: Sell side-by-side with the team and lead by example in product demonstrations, sales building, maintaining cleanliness of the gondola and respecting store standards. This includes planning and executing successful events, selling product and building the sale through make-up applications. Build and maintain store relationships through consistent communication with leadership and sales teams.Office Days: Analyze business results to react quickly to trends and identify opportunities for growth. Leverage metrics to write strong schedules, track growth and identify new opportunities in growing markets. Execute event planning meetings with Ulta store teams and freelancers.ResponsibilitiesMotivate, train, and influence freelancers, Ulta leadership and beauty advisors to sell Morphe products.Accountability for sales and growth in the territory.In store sales support, education, and eventing that makes a meaningful, lasting impact on store brand awareness and productivityAnalysis of sales by door and implementation of appropriate strategies to drive sales in each accountEvaluation of brand merchandising to ensure brand is represented at the highest levelsEstablish relationships and communicate regularly with Ulta leadership teams to discuss brand performance and initiatives to surpass sales objectives at each point of saleExecute impactful store events that meet brand standardsFollow company budget parameters and careful use of company resources to achieve end goalsTimely return of all phone calls, e-mails and communication from both retail partners and Forma team.Write and manage freelance & events schedulesEstablish relationships and communicate regularly with Ulta leadership teams to discuss brand performance and initiatives to surpass sales objectives at each point of sale Execute impactful store events that meet brand standards Follow company budget parameters and careful use of company resources to achieve end goals Timely return of all phone calls, e-mails and communication from both retail partners and Forma team. Write and manage freelance & events schedules Qualifications Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills: Work and communicate effectively with all customers, retail partners, and members of the Forma team with the ability to coach, develop and provide effective feedback. Excellent artistry skills: Confident and creative makeup artist that has the skills to demo products while selling to customers and coach Ulta employees on makeup tips to deliver education paired with selling. Eager to grow Morphe: The drive to work hard in building and maintaining relationships that are imperative to growing the Morphe brand. A passion for beauty: Eager to learn and absorb all things related to beauty and how to build a business. Organized: eye for detail in sales analysis and area planning to schedule a team of freelancers in regional doors to maximize impact while accounting for availability 5+ years industry experience, Ulta experience required. Minimum of 2 years Cosmetic Account Executive or 5 years Account Coordinator experience (or equivalent position). Superior training and motivational abilities Analysis of sales results, sales forecasts, and promotional impact Basic knowledge of MS Office application including excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint. Eye for visual merchandising Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Exhibit effective communication skills with customers, peers and management Experience in working with MS Word and Excel Ability to travel and work weekends Valid driver’s license is required Work Hours & Location The Account Executive will be in the Field at Ulta locations either Tuesday through Saturday or Wednesday through Sunday. The Account Executive will be allowed to work from home (office days) once per week in agreement with Manager.
