Tax.Role:Ploutus Advisors Inc is seeking a dedicated Real Estate Exchange Brokerage Specialist (Vice President) for a full-time hybrid role based in Torrance, CA. In this position, you will be responsible for developing new business and negotiating the purchase, sale, and marketing of commercial real estate properties for existing and new clients interested in 1031 exchanges and providing 1031 exchange support to our internal teams and external consultants. This position will represent Ploutus Advisors Inc in the business development and prospecting of new clients and marketing the platform’s unique ability to facilitate the purchase and/or sale of investment real estate properties through the firm’s real estate brokerage service by emphasizing the deferment of capital gain taxes (under IRC Section 1031) using the assistance of Ploutus Advisors Tax Corp’s full-service taxation expertise. Additionally, you will play a vital role in fostering client relationships and contributing to the growth of the firm’s exchange brokerage services.Position Responsibilities:Clearly and effectively communicate with financial advisors, wealth managers, investors, and legal advisors about the capabilities of Ploutus Advisors’ dual-focused platformWork closely with firm principals and internal team members to generate new 1031 exchange transaction leadsSecure new and expanded business opportunities through prospecting, networking, relationship building, and marketing additional platform services to the current and prospective client baseIdentify sales opportunities and proactively conduct consultative, relationship-building outbound calls and schedule meetings and conference callsMonitor and manage real estate transactions from inception through closingInitiate sales and marketing ideas to better position the Ploutus Advisors brand by leveraging its combined U.S. tax and real estate expertiseServe as the subject matter expert and in-house resource on commercial real estate and 1031 exchangesDevelop and execute on a data-driven client model, including the consistent profiling of clients, timely and accurate documentation of all interactions (calls, deal tracking, status) into the firm’s CRM system, and development and delivery of comprehensive reporting to the firm principalsRequired:2-5 years of sales/brokerage experience in real estate or financial services requiredPrior experience with 1031 real estate exchanges and/or real estate closings a plusDemonstrated ability to be articulate and knowledgeable in explaining complex real estate and financial matters to all audiences, including sophisticated HNW investors, potential clients of the firm, and financial and legal advisorsSelf-driven growth mindset with a business-owner mentality, naturally drawn to opportunities, value creation, and a desire to continuously improve one’s own capabilitiesMust be able to work well in a small business family-owned team setting as well as multi-task in a fast-paced environmentComfort with speaking on conference calls, in virtual meetings and with advisors, clients, and legal professionalsStrong work ethic and high integrityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsUnderstanding of real estate brokerage, contracts, and regulatory complianceAbility to drive/travel as needed to conduct meetings with clients and tour propertiesBachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field required (MBA, CFA, or CFP a plus)Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the futureValid California real estate salesperson license requiredCompensation:Commission, Independent ContractorResume:Submit resume and cover letter to: HR@PloutusAdvisors.comFLSA:The above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by the employee within this role.
