Account Manager - 1/3 territory of SlovakiaRegion: western Slovakia (Bratislava, Trnava, Trečín)Position purpose: The role is responsible for sale of Zoetis product portfolio to veterinary practices and improves results across the assigned customer portfolio. The position builds and coordinates strong customer relationships and is accountable for achieving territory sales targets. It also creates demand and fosters long-term relationships with veterinarians on the assigned territory in SlovakiaResponsibilities:Defines, creates and implements customized plans for a number of Vets, including clear objectives regarding turnover, gross margin and market share, and including the resources needed and action plans to achieve the objectives.Focuses efforts on customers according to a given plan in key sales areasUnderstands the business of veterinarians, their problems, needs and expectations and focuses the sales strategy accordingly. Uses portfolio and strategies to design customized sales solutions for customers.Working closely with other business managers and unit leaders to ensure information is exchanged and business opportunities are exploited.Actively communicate with other Zoetis employees to prepare sales and support events.Communicate with Technical Manager to fully utilize clinical studies. Regularly analysis current and potential customers in order to maintain sales and profitability targets.Conduct analyses of market opportunities; identify potential new Key Customer. Agree on plan of action with Sales Manager. Actively participate on Cycle planning, implementation and impact. Provide feedback from the field on the regular base.Collect, collate, analyze and disseminate relevant market information, including competitor analysis, product performance, commercial performance and sales data to support the identification of sales opportunities.Collecting and reporting of adverse reactions, liaising with local, current PV procedure.Collaborates with distributors of Animal Health products. Implements all related product and market strategies and activities in accordance with business strategies defined by global and regional AH business unit leaders.Maintains and develops effective long-term relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and industry stakeholders.Other tasks issued by supervisor Requirements:Minimum two (2) years of work experience on similar sales role in pharmaceutical, life science or veterinarian pet food diets organizationUniversity degree in Veterinary / Life Science / Pharmaceuticals preferredDemonstrates excellent sales skills and presentation skillsBuilds strong relationships with customersStrong sales and presentation skillsOutstanding business acumen, strategic orientation and excellent relationship management capabilities.Results oriented.Market Knowledge, manifested in developing detailed fact-based understanding of the needs and critical issues of the customer base and understanding how to develop a profitable business accordingly. Also, he/she knows competitors and suppliers and the general regulatory issues affecting daily business practice.Collaboration and influencing, evidenced by working effectively with others as a team to have positive impact on business performance of both sides.Commercial orientation, manifested in creating new and better means to achieve enterprise and business success. Also, he/she invents new ways of exploiting opportunities, which results in increased profit and revenue.Strategic orientation, expressed through the ability to think long-term, integratively, and beyond his/her own area.Outstanding business awareness, combined with analytical and integrative skills.
