Salted Stone is a full-service global growth agency and HubSpot Elite Partner looking for an Account Manager to join our growing Client Services team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.We’d love you to join us!The Account Manager at Salted Stone is a consultant, working directly with technical subject matter experts to manage client relationships, define requirements and timelines, and skillfully lead engagements. You will manage a select group of clients, acting as their dedicated liaison and ensuring every project is delivered with precision.From crafting impactful client communications to leading retainer renewal discussions, you play a key role in driving client satisfaction and revenue growth. You’ll be leading the way to efficient project management, ensuring engagements stay on time and on budget. But it’s not just about managing engagements - it’s about being part of a team that is dedicated to client success. Your recommendations will shape the course of ongoing campaigns, and your keen insights will identify opportunities for account expansion.In your new role as an Account Manager, you’ll get to:Manage a roster of diverse clientsEffectively manage the onboarding/kickoff of clientsAct as the primary liaison between clients and our internal teams as it relates to timeline, budget, progress, etc.Prepare account service-related documents such as meeting agendas, meeting reports, emails, proposals, and other client communications and correspondenceTriage all incoming support requests from clients via email, calls, or our support ticketing platformPrepare production plans based on contracted budgets and timelinesCreate and manage tasks in the project management tool as tasks progress through the stages of completion, including keeping the client-facing board up to datePerform meticulous quality checks and testing on project- and campaign-related deliverablesTrack and report on engagement budgets and client health on a weekly basisEnsure that CRM records are updated on a weekly basisCreate and maintain milestone records to accurately forecast client revenue and ensure that invoices go out to clients in accordance with the contracted payment scheduleProvide recommendations on how to improve ongoing marketing campaigns and digital projects (e.g., website redesigns, backend integrations, etc.)Lead retainer renewal conversations with the client in a timely manner to ensure retainers do not lapseIdentify account retention and expansion opportunities and lead conversations with clients about those opportunitiesWork with subject matter experts to properly scope out new engagement opportunitiesWe’ll expect you to have: A post-secondary degree or equivalent professional experience, preferably in marketing, communications, or business.You have a high-level knowledge of general marketing and sales tech stacks.You have proficiency in HubSpot (or similar), Google Analytics, Google Apps, and Microsoft Office.Practical hands-on experience with digital marketing, content marketing, and project management.You have previous agency experience - preferably in a client-facing role.You come with strong oral and written communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects (budgets, timelines, personalities) simultaneously.You have experience working with B2B, fast-growing SaaS, enterprise-level, and/or technology companies.You have experience building and deploying email campaigns via HubSpot or similar platforms.You have demonstrated the ability to think critically and creatively based on clients’ business objectives, challenges, and KPIs.You are passionate about marketing and business consulting, with a desire to continue learning and keeping up-to-date with digital and marketing best practices.It would also be great (but not essential) for you to have the following:You have a few HubSpot Academy certifications, specifically Inbound Marketing, Inbound Sales, and/or CMS for Marketers.You have an understanding of basic web development (HTML, CSS, etc.) and experience editing websites on popular CMS platforms such as HubSpot and WordPress.You have managed projects in tools like Teamwork and Airtable.Outside of your technical skills, our general requirements for all Salted Stone employees are:Team player.
