Position: Account Manager (VP-Director)Our client is the Singapore-based subsidiary of a leading Chinese futures and derivatives brokerage provides a comprehensive range of futures and derivatives trading, clearing, and risk management services to institutional and corporate clients. Regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), the firm offers access to major global exchanges and supports cross-border hedging and investment strategies.Leveraging its parent company’s strong market position and international network, the office facilitates capital flows between China and overseas markets. Its offerings span commodities, financial futures, and structured derivative products, catering to both hedging and speculative trading needs.For this Account manager role, we are seeking a motivated and talented candidate to join their team, playing a pivotal role in driving business growth and building a high-performing team.Job and responsibilities Respond to product and account opening enquiries received from the China Sales team, and oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to deal closure.Understand clients' needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.Develop customized sales presentations and proposals to address client needs and demonstrate the value of futures brokerage services.Oversee products’ negotiations and pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.Prepare sales reports for senior management when required.Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with key clients and partners.Stay up to date with industry developments and competitor activities.Perform customers administration functions according to internal Policies and Procedures to be efficient and compliant.Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams to address any issues or concerns.Play a key role in organizing and participating in industry conferences and networking events to promote the company's products and services.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in futures trading, brokerage, or financial services.Strong understanding of futures markets, derivatives, and risk management concepts.Proven track record of managing client relationships and achieving sales targets.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with trading platforms, market data systems, and regulatory requirements is a plus.Proficiency in both English and Mandarin in order to work with English and Mandarin speaking counterparties.
