This role includes managing bank postings, performing weekly bank reconciliations, processing supplier payments (including wire transfers and credit card authorizations), and assisting with month-end financial analysis. The Account Officer collaborates with the finance team to resolve ledger discrepancies, supports inventory and fixed asset management, and aids in the preparation of periodic tax returns and audit processes.Key ResponsibilitiesPost of bank transactions daily on accounting software (Credit cards, bank charges, payment to Suppliers) Reconcile bank accounts on a weekly basis. Prepare payments for Homeowners Revenue. Prepare monthly payment for APVR. Prepare credit card authorizations for American Express, Visa, Master, Diners, etc. and send them to vendors. Analyze revenues, commissions, and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately every month. Maintain the general ledger, accounting records and corresponding reconciliation schedules of the Company. Update ROU assets / liabilities schedules. Assist with preparing tax returns and corporate reporting requirements.ProfileBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in an accounting or finance role, with familiarity in using financial software. Minimum 2 years of experience at an officer level. Familiar with Sun Systems, Opera, Materials Control and Micros/Simphony and ERP.
