The role requires a candidate with a manufacturing background who will be responsible for managing the entire finance operations of the company. The accountant will ensure timely and accurate financial and management reporting in accordance with accounting standards, company policies, the Companies Act, tax regulations, and Bursa Malaysia requirements. ResponsibilitiesResponsible for financial reporting for CCM Chemicals Sdn. Bhd., inclusive of financial audit, management report and board papers.Responsible for accurate & timely management reporting to all stakeholders. Responsible for preparation of a complete ABR (Annual Budget Review), mid- year review budget and   projection exercise.Responsible to ensure Financial Statements are prepared based on approved Malaysian Financial Reporting Standard, Companies Act and Bursa Malaysia guidelines.Manage and oversee CCMC’s overall accounting activities from data entry to reporting.Maintain the Accounting system is reliable at any time.Manage and coordinate auditing process with internal and external auditors.Manage trade working capital efficiency and lead the initiatives planning for improvements from time to time.Manage tax filing and transfer pricing documents for the Company, inclusive of SST reporting.Manage day-to-day Finance operations in efficient manners for AP, AR, Costing, Fixed Assets, Credit Control, Treasury and GL.Evaluate the capital investment for the Company - capex purchase, return and cost saving Perform performance evaluation for subordinates and identify gaps in term of skills and knowledge for staff development. QualificationsMinimum – Degree in AccountingProfessional accounting qualification – CIMA/ACCA /MIA5 years working experience in similar capacity with credibility in operational and manufacturing accounting.Strong SAP knowledge, mainly COPA Familiar with accounting standards MFRSComputer literate and excellent in MicrosoftKnowledge of SST and Malaysian TaxationAbility to work under pressure with tight deadlines
