As an integral part of our organisation, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.Manage month-end preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, journals, and general ledger managementPrepare and deliver monthly financial reports to the internal leadership teamOversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and accuracyConduct regular financial analysis to support decision-making processesAssist in the preparation of annual financial statements and support external auditsCalculate and submit monthly tax returns, including VATDevelop and maintain financial databases and spreadsheets to track key performance indicatorsCollaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data collection and reportingIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operationsStay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and accounting standards relevant to the Egyptian marketQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldProfessional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) or working towards oneMinimum of 7 years of experience in a similar accounting roleStrong knowledge of Egyptian accounting standards and tax regulationsProficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong attention to detail and high level of accuracyEffective communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentFluency in Arabic and EnglishExperience with ERP systems is desirable
