If you're passionate about making a tangible impact in the global financial landscape, and eager to grow within a company that's constantly innovating, M-DAQ Global offers a unique opportunity.Join us and be part of the team powering faster, smarter cross-border payment and FX solutions for Asia and the world.For more information, please visit: www.m-daq.com.Key Responsibilities Maintenance and preparation of proper accounting records, including management reports, financial statements, and other information reports, in adherence to company policies and accounting proceduresWork closely with Subsidiary Finance on monthly financial performance reporting, highlight key variances and conduct investigations of exceptionsTimely and accurate submission of financial and management reports to key stakeholdersEnsure compliance with statutory reporting requirements, IFRS, MAS, tax and all other regulatory bodiesPerform monthly trade/bank and revenue reconciliation and manage reconciling itemsWork closely with IT and Data teams to formulate solutions that lead to long term benefits for the business and teamManage and lead all tax-related matters including provision and compliance process, and review of tax returns and riskContribute and implement financial system and accounting procedural improvementsEstablishment of and maintenance of appropriate internal control safeguardsInteract with other Department Heads to provide consultative support to planning through financial and management information analysisRepresent the finance team of the company internally and externally to auditors, tax agents, government agencies, funding agencies and the investors.Assist in forecasting and budgetingAssist with other ad hoc projects and duties as assignedDesired Skill Set and AttributesDegree in Finance or Accounting, minimum 3-6 years of experience in auditing or accounting position, preferably Big 4 firm and a CA/CPAProficient in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and hands-on experience in accounting softwareProfessional written and verbal communication in English and MandarinStrong attention to details, ensuring accuracy and completenessAble to meet deadlines and work under pressureProactive with strong sense of responsibility and urgencyGood and effective interpersonal skillsWhy Us?Make a positive impact on the world’s economy by creating a World without Currency Borders™Team Innovation Mindset, People-OrientedChallenging environment, offering great opportunities to learn and growCreative and Innovative WorkplaceWe offer competitive remuneration, including employee stock options and employee benefits
