About The OpportunityA patient-centric outpatient healthcare clinic operating in the Indian primary-care and allied-health sector. We provide clinical consultations, diagnostics and support services across multiple touchpoints and require an on-site Accountant to ensure accurate books, statutory compliance and timely financial reporting to support fast, regulated growth.Role & ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle accounting: maintain general ledger, post journals, process AR/AP and ensure accurate month-end close.Prepare and file statutory returns including GST returns and TDS filings; coordinate periodic tax compliance and remittances.Process payroll and statutory contributions (PF/ESI), prepare payroll journals and ensure payroll compliance with applicable regulations.Perform bank and vendor reconciliations, investigate and resolve variances, and manage vendor payments and supplier statements.Produce timely management reports — cash flow, P&L, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis for clinic leadership.Support internal controls and annual statutory audit: prepare schedules, maintain documentation and coordinate with auditors and tax consultants.Skills & QualificationsMust-HaveBachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting or equivalent and hands-on accounting experience in an Indian business environment.Practical experience with TallyPrime (or equivalent accounting software) for day-to-day bookkeeping.Working knowledge of GST filing, TDS compliance and other Indian statutory requirements.Strong Microsoft Excel skills for reconciliations, pivots and basic financial modelling.Experience in payroll processing and statutory deductions (PF/ESI).Proven ability to prepare month-end close deliverables and management reporting.Benefits & Culture HighlightsOn-site role with direct exposure to healthcare operations and leadership — high visibility and impact.Structured processes, collaborative clinical finance team and opportunities for upskilling in statutory compliance.Professional environment focused on accuracy, patient-first service and continuous improvement.We are looking for a meticulous, compliance-focused Accountant who can thrive in an on-site healthcare setting and help keep financial operations clean, accurate and audit-ready.
