As a shared service, we get to work with all of Scopely's talented studios.What You Will DoIn this role, you’ll work closely with senior leadership, fellow accountants, and other teams across our global offices, as well as with external auditors and advisors. You’ll play a key role in supporting the monthly consolidation process, quarterly and annual financial reporting and audits under IFRS and US GAAP, technical research, and process improvements with a strong focus on automation, accuracy and efficiency.Perform the monthly consolidation procedures, including translation, eliminations and consolidationReview the reconciliation of Intercompany accounts and schedules to support financial statements and footnote disclosuresAssist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports under IFRS and US GAAP, including tie-out and cross-check of P&L, balance sheets, cash flow, and supporting schedulesAutomate recurring reports and trackers to minimise manual work and improve accuracyStreamline the creation of supporting schedules for quarterly and annual financial filingsCoordinate with external auditors on requests and walkthroughsEnsure all financial documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-readyMaintain up-to-date process documentation and checklistsAssist with general ad hoc projectsWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.3+ years of experience in audit, accounting, or financeStrong skills in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with OracleTech-savvy and quick to learn new tools and systemsA self-starter with a proactive and solution-oriented mindsetExceptional attention to detail, strong organization skills, and the ability to work efficiently without compromising qualityAbility to work well with a team and autonomously at timesA desire to take on challenges and grow with the roleStrong English language skills are required for this role as we have a highly diverse and global businessBonus Points Public accounting experienceAt Scopely, we create games for everyone - and want to ensure that the people behind our games reflect that!
