Job Description

The Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of transactionalfinancial data across the organisation. This includes bookkeeping, accounts receivable and payable,payroll processing, expense handling, and compliance-related reporting. The role plays a key part inmaintaining financial integrity and supporting the wider Finance team with reconciliations, audits,and continuous process optimisation.Principal AccountabilitiesAccounts Payable & ReceivableManage accounts receivable (debtors), including bookkeeping, handling, and follow-upManage accounts payable (vendors), including invoice handling, posting, follow-up, out- payments, and balancingConduct customer invoicing, including collection and review of data for reporting andPayroll & Employee ExpensesProcess payroll for all employees, including hourly, monthly, and payments to self-employedReview payroll data, reconcile timesheets, and maintain employee files for salaryReport sickness, G-days, and parental leave to authorities and secure applicable refundsHandle expense management, including reimbursement of employee outlays, mileage, and company MastercardAct as point of contact for employees regarding payroll and salary-related questionsFinancial Reporting & ComplianceSupport with month-end closing and account balancingResponsible for reporting and reconciliation of statement of accounts, bank accounts, VAT, and settlementsPerform general accounting and reconciliations for all entitiesFinance Team Support & OptimisationSupport the Finance team with day-to-day tasks and ad hoc financial assignmentsContribute to continuous improvement of accounting and payroll processesct as a liaison for internal and external stakeholders on financial and salary-related mattersQualifications And ExperienceMaster’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or another relevant fieldPreferably a few years of experience in finance and/or controllingAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsStrong IT skills; experience with ERP systems preferredFluent in EnglishKey competenciesStructured and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlinesStrong analytical mindset and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and stakeholder engagementHigh integrity and a proactive approach to complianceAdaptability and willingness to contribute to broader Finance objectivesOfferA chance to join a growing and dynamic organization, where you can actively contribute to building and shaping the work environment.Excellent conditions for professional development – we support growth, initiative, and new ideas.A friendly, open, and communicative company culture based on trust and collaboration.Supportive colleagues and leaders who are always ready to help and share their expertise.Competitive salary and working conditions, aligned with your experience and contribution.Access to modern tools and resources that make your work effective and enjoyable.An opportunity to work for a company with a strong reputation and great standing in our industry.
