Inheriting DHL’s logistics excellence and Saudi Aramco’s extensive supply chain ecosystem, we are here to set a new benchmark and redefine the procurement and supply chain landscape, enabling growth.ASMO aims to be operational in 2025 and provide reliable end-to-end integrated procurement and supply chain services for companies across the industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical sectors. Our focus customers in the short term will be Saudi Aramco and its Affiliates. In the long term, all the industrial sectors within Saudi Arabia aim to reach the MENA region.Objective:The role holder is responsible for conducting the day-to-day operations of all accounting functions within the Finance function. The role holder is expected to abide by accounting and internal control policies for ASMO, as per KSA financial reporting and accounting standards.General Responsibilities:- Participate in interpreting and analysing financial information, including data aggregation and reconciliation, and presenting results.- Oversee order-to-cash cycle on a monthly basis, including customer invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition.- Oversee record-to-report process on a monthly basis, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, fixed assets and financial reporting.- Ensure journal entries relating to revenue, expenses, accruals, provisions and prepayments are made with accuracy.- Oversee monthly procure-to-pay process, ensuring efficient procurement, invoice processing, and payment procedures.- Prepare various balance sheet account reconciliations, obtain the necessary detailed transactions for the account and investigate and correct reconciling items.- Conduct YoY trend comparisons or other required periodic comparisons, ensuring data integrity and monitoring compliance with internal and external regulatory limits and thresholds.- Work closely with Accounting Managers to gather requirements and reconciliations and apply basic accounting principles.- Utilize analytical review techniques when reviewing journal entries, account activity, and account reconciliations, to ensure accurate reporting by identifying discrepancies or errors.- Recommend training and development interventions for team members to build their capabilities.- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for the continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices to increase productivity and operational efficiency.- Implement all relevant Department’s policies, processes, procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.- Contribute to the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet departmental requirements, policies and standards.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is required.- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is preferred.- CMA / CA / ACCA preferred.- Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English.- 5 years’ experience in the same Field.
