Our signature stores thrive in Paris, Dubai, Milano, Madrid, Nice, Berlin, New York, Kuala Lumpur, London Oxford Street, Westfield Stratford, and Westfield London.Job Purpose: The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Accounting Department, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.This role manages the General Ledger, financial closing processes, and internal controls while supporting financial reporting activities. The position requires a strong combination of technical accounting expertise, leadership capability, and continuous process improvement mindset.Key Responsibilities:Accounting OperationsOversee daily accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Payroll.Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.Review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and provisions to ensure completeness and accuracy.Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax returns (Corporate Tax, VAT/GST, Withholding Tax).Financial ReportingPrepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP standards.Support management reporting and financial analysis to provide insights into business performance.Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and coordinate with external auditors.Internal Controls & ComplianceMaintain and enhance internal control systems and accounting policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with local regulations, statutory requirements, and company internal policies.Support internal and external audits, tax filings, and compliance reviews.Process & Systems ImprovementIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and digital transformation.Support ERP system upgrades and financial system enhancements as needed.Ensure master data integrity and consistency of accounting treatments across departments.Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to ensure high performance and professional growth.Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback.Foster a collaborative, accountable, and integrity-driven work environment.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.Professional certification required: CPA, CA, or ACCA.6–10 years of accounting experience, including at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
