Mechanical Procurement Engineer (Material Submittals)

El Buroj is looking for a Mechanical Procurement Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling material submittals, performing technical material selection, and ensuring full compliance with project specifications and consultant requirements.🔹 Key Responsibilities:• Prepare, review, and submit material submittals in line with project specs and consultant requirements. • Perform technical material selection based on project specifications and BOQ requirements. • Coordinate with suppliers to obtain technical datasheets, drawings, and certificates. • Ensure suppliers’ submittals comply with approved specifications. • Follow up with clients and consultants to secure timely approvals. • Maintain and update submittal logs and technical documentation. • Coordinate with Sales, Technical Office, Tender, and Project teams. • Support procurement and pricing activities using approved materials. • Ensure supplied materials fully match approved submittals.🔹 Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. • 2–4 years of experience in material submittals, procurement, or technical office within engineering project supplies. • Strong ability to perform technical material selection. • Previous experience in engineering project supplies is preferred. • Strong communication and coordination skills. • Good command of English (spoken & written).📩 How to Apply: Kindly send your updated CV mentioning “Procurement Engineer – Material Submittals” in the subject line to:📧 Mohamed.Ashry@elburoj.com
