Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo for a Senior Cost Control Mechanical Engineer. The role involves monitoring and managing project costs, developing cost estimates, preparing financial and progress reports, and implementing efficient cost control strategies. The engineer will also analyze project budgets, assess cost performance, and ensure adherence to financial objectives and project timelines. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders is expected to drive project success. Qualifications Proficiency in Cost Control and Cost Management processes to oversee and manage project budgets effectivelyStrong Analytical Skills to assess budget performance, forecast costs, and support decision-makingExpertise in Cost Reporting and Project Control to deliver accurate financial reports and ensure project milestones are metRelevant engineering degree (preferably in Mechanical Engineering) and knowledge of cost control softwareExcellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skillsPrior experience in the construction or consultancy sector is highly beneficial
