Company Description Villas by the Sea is a 17 acre oceanfront resort condotel located on Jekyll Island, Georgia. 176 fully equipped villas with one, two or three bedrooms. Located adjacent to famous Driftwood Beach, the resort is set among beautiful live oak trees with meandering walkways connecting low-rise buildings, a 4700sq ft conference center, free form pool and on-site restaurant. the resort is independently operated and governed by a nine member board of directors. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting Manager located in Jekyll Island, GA. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial statements, conducting analysis, preparing journal entries, and managing fixed assets. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, developing and implementing financial strategies, monitoring the accounting team's performance, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Qualifications Skills in Financial Statements, FinanceStrong Analytical SkillsCondotel, hotel or club management experience helpful.Experience with Journal Entries (Accounting)Knowledge of Fixed AssetsExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to work on-site in Jekyll Island, GABachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
