Our strong team of 4.200 people is dedicated to making Europe-wide car trading and transport as fast and stress-free as possible for our customers.Job DescriptionThe candidate will join the Finance team and will be responsible for the main activities related to the monthly closures of the 4 companies of Auto1 Group and will also be the main point of reference of the department for the new special projects requested by HQ.QualificationsYour Profile:Post-secondary education in Finance/Accounting (e.g., MSc in Finance, CCA, or equivalent).Proven experience as a Accountant, ideally within an international organization or previous experience in audit (Big Four) for at least 2-3 years .Strong knowledge of reporting tools, including Excel (Google Sheets is a plus). Experience with accounting software (Oracle or similar) and proficiency in year-end closing, VAT, and tax reporting.Detail-oriented, methodical, and analytical, with excellent problem-solving skills. Comfortable working independently and taking on large-scale responsibilities.Fluency in English is essential, both written and spoken.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all accounting activities for our italian operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting according to both local and group standards.Review, analyze, and ensure the reliability of financial information, making necessary corrections and adjustments.Lead and coordinate monthly and annual financial closings.Manage and validate intercompany transactions, ensuring reconciliation between entities.Prepare and submit external and internal reports to group HQ.Drive process improvements by strengthening and documenting existing financial procedures, automating repetitive tasks to focus on high-value activities.Lead and participate in various strategic projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and continuous improvements in financial efficiency.Support internal audits and annual tax filings, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.Serve as one of the key point of contact for auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.What We OfferDirect placement with a contract according to law commensurate with the level of knowledge / skills possessed by the candidates;Young, informal environment, attentive to a balanced work-life;Concrete opportunities for all-round professional growth in a highly meritocratic and international contextAdditional InformationPlace of work: Milano, Via Perin del Vaga 2, 20156Shifts include a total of 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday 09:00-18:00.Smart working 2 days per weekIf you think you are the right person you can send your CV in English or Italian
