Accounting Supervisor

A widely known manufacturing group is hiring an Accounting Supervisor to oversee day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, and cash/treasury for a multi-entity environment. Hands-on role with one direct report and close CFO exposure.About the Role:You’ll own month/quarter/year-end, strengthen controls, and provide clear analysis and recommendations to leadership in a lean, fast-moving operation.What You’ll Do:Supervise and mentor one accountant; review journals, reconciliations, and close tasksPrepare/review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsManage multi-entity consolidation and internal/external reportingSupport cash management/treasury and monitor liquidityCoordinate tax compliance and assist with planningMaintain and enhance internal controls, policies, and proceduresLiaise with auditors and cross-functional partnersWhat You Bring:CPA required; 3–5+ years progressive accounting experience (manufacturing preferred)Strong technical knowledge of Canadian GAAP/IFRS and consolidationsExperience across reporting, analysis, tax, and treasuryDetail-oriented, organized, and confident operating independently in a decentralized settingClear communicator with a process-driven mindsetWhy Join:High-impact scope with CFO visibility in a stable, growth-oriented manufacturerAutonomy to improve processes and build best practicesCollaborative team and tangible operational influence
