Accounting Team Lead

As Cornerstone Türkiye, we are partnering with our global client operating in the manufacturing industry to recruit an experienced Accounting Team Lead.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage all day-to-day accounting operations.Ensure timely and accurate preparation of statutory financial statements in compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards.Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.Coordinate with auditors and external stakeholders on independent audit and tax matters.Monitor, implement, and continuously improve internal controls and accounting policies.Support budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting activities in close collaboration with finance teams.Supervise, develop, and mentor the accounting team.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as SMMM/CPA is a plus).Minimum 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within multinational or manufacturing environments.Strong knowledge of Turkish GAAP, IFRS/TFRS, and tax legislation.Hands-on experience in ERP systemsStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.What We OfferAn opportunity to join a global leader in the manufacturing industry.A dynamic and collaborative working environment.Professional growth and international exposure.If you are ready to take the next step in your career and lead an accounting team in a global setting, we would be pleased to connect.
