Then we are looking for you!What will you be doing?As Account Manager Eastern Europe, you are responsible for the sales of organic food ingredients in countries such as Poland, Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. You achieve sales and margin targets with existing and new customers and contribute to the growth ambitions of DO IT Organic.The Food Ingredients department of DO IT Organic supplies over 750 certified organic ingredients to B2B customers in the food industry, spread across Europe and beyond. Think of categories such as nuts & dried fruits, seeds, cocoa, grains, sweeteners, oils & fats. All of high quality and fully traceable. Our international team works together with a global network of suppliers and responds flexibly to customer needs and market trends.Your tasks and responsibilities as account manager include:Managing the entire sales process: from first contact to aftersales.Overseeing sales contracts, orders, overdue payments, and internal communication.Acquiring new customers and strengthening existing relationships.Identifying trends and opportunities in the market and responding to them.Bridging the Dutch corporate culture and the Eastern European market through mutual translation and alignment.Sharing market information with all commercial departments.Regularly travelling to customers and trade fairs in Eastern Europe.During your onboarding, you will spend an extended period at our office in Barneveld to get to know the team and the organisation well. You will receive personal guidance from a colleague. Afterwards, like your other international colleagues, you will be present at the office at least four times a year.What will you bring?You have a completed commercial bachelor’s or master’s degree.You have at least 3 years of experience as an account manager in Eastern Europe.You speak and write fluent English; knowledge of other Eastern European languages is an advantage.You understand the dynamics of the food industry and have the ability to link customer-focused advice to a commercial goal.You are ambitious, result-oriented, customer-focused, strong in negotiations, and able to switch quickly.In addition, you have an affinity for organic food and feel at home with our company’s social values.What do we offer?Whether you live in the Netherlands or in Eastern Europe: at DO IT Organic, we ensure that your employment conditions are well arranged.
