With record revenues (£56.3M FY 2025), landmark space and defence contracts, and a clear roadmap for innovation, this is the moment for exceptionally talented people to join us on our exciting journey.RequirementsThe successful applicant will work within the accounts team and will be involved with:Bank reconciliations, cash forecasting and supplier paymentsLeading accounts receivable and ensuring efficient posting of cash receiptsProcess and manage colleague expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and proceduresCreating month-end reconciliations, posting journals and assisting accounts productionMaintenance of the Group's asset registersSupport the AP function with invoice registering and processingMaintaining accurate and organised financial records in line with company proceduresAssisting with internal and external audits as requiredBeing primary point of contact for banking queriesSupporting the finance team with ad-hoc reporting, system improvements and administrative tasksEssential:A proactive, curious mindset with a positive attitudeIT literate and competent in ExcelExperience and understanding of a fast-paced accounts departmentGood communication skills, both written and verbalThe ability to work independently and manage workload in a fast-paced environmentPrevious experience of working in a similar accounts or finance assistant roleDesirable:Working towards or completed CIMA, ACCA, or similar professional qualificationExperience working within a manufacturing, engineering or technology environmentKnowledge of accruals accounting and balance sheet reconciliationUnderstanding of VAT regulations and complianceExperience with NetSuiteExposure to month-end and year-end processesBenefitsWe recognise the value of exceptional talent.
