Job DescriptionThe ERP Accountant & MIS Analyst is responsible for managing core accounting, statutory compliance, and MIS reporting functions using FACT ERP. This position ensures adherence to Nepal’s tax and accounting laws, accurate financial recordkeeping, and insightful management reporting.Responsibilities Handle accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and provisions using FACT ERP as per Nepal Accounting Standards (NAS). Ensure compliance with Nepal VAT (13% standard rate), Income Tax Act 2058, and related tax laws. Prepare and file monthly VAT returns, manage TDS, and oversee all statutory filings as per IRD requirements. Prepare, analyze, and present MIS reports, budget/variance analysis, and collection/stock statements. Manage expense reimbursements, inventory records, and vendor/bank reconciliations in the ERP system. Generate data and reports required for internal/external audits and facilitate compliance with auditor recommendations. Maintain accurate records and documentation per Nepali legislative and audit norms. Assist in training staff and collaborating with other departments for reporting and compliance needs. Stay updated on changes in Nepalese tax laws, regulations, and system upgrades.Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance 3+ years’ experience in accounting and financial management within Nepalese businesses. Proven hands-on experience with FACT ERP (must-have) Deep understanding of Nepal VAT, TDS, and compliance with IRD regulations Proficient in MIS report preparation and financial data analysis. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Office tools (Word, PowerPoint). Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Ability to document and maintain financial and statutory information per Nepalese law.Skills Required Strong foundational knowledge in accounting principles and financial management. Hands-on experience with FACT ERP software for managing accounting and financial processes - Mandatory Proficient in preparing Management Information System (MIS) reports and financial data analysis.
