Accounts Payable Finance Associate

Job DescriptionAbout the roleFugro Shared Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated Finance Associate to join our Accounts Payable team in our Kuala Lumpur office. This is a full-time position that will play a key role in supporting the company's financial operations.What You'll Be DoingProcessing and managing accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, match purchase orders and resolving discrepancies and issues related to invoices and paymentsReconciling invoices, payments, and vendor statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. Handle vendor inquiries and resolve any invoice discrepancies or payment issuesAssisting with month-end and year-end close processes and auditsPreparing reports and financial statements related to accounts payable. Maintaining confidential and meticulous records. Involvement in system migration's matter.Coordinate and collaborate with the team members to identify root causes and work on counter-measures to resolve the issue accordingly.Continuously looking for improvements in the AP process and management of AP initiatives and drives improvement projectsEnsuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies. Providing support for other accounting and finance-related tasks as needed What We're Looking ForMinimum 2 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a shared services or similar environmentRelevant diploma or degree in Accounting or FinanceStrong attention to detail and excellent data entry and record-keeping skillsProficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel)Ability to multitask and priorities tasks in a fast-paced environment What We OfferAt Fugro, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
