And we’re growing.The RoleThe Accounts Payable Specialist plays a vital role on the Accounting Team, supporting one or more Bravas locations as well as the Corporate Finance Department. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the AP function, including invoice processing, vendor management, payment preparation, and compliance with GAAP and company policy.The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.What You’ll DoProcess vendor invoices and related documentation; maintain accurate AP subledgers in accordance with GAAP and company policyEnsure timely and accurate coding, approval, and posting of invoicesReview contracts and purchase orders to verify appropriate cost recognitionEstablish and maintain positive relationships with vendors, ensuring prompt resolution of any billing or payment issuesManage AP workflows and maintain compliance with internal controls and standard operating proceduresCoordinate with location leadership, Regional Accounting, and Corporate Finance on financial inquiries and reportingParticipate in audits, reconciliations, and process improvement initiativesPrepare and maintain documentation for all AP processes and ensure adherence to Bravas accounting policiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams in a courteous and professional mannerWhat You BringMinimum 3 years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience in a multi-location or growth-oriented organizationProficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word)Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles and standard AP proceduresStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related disciplineExperience with NetSuite or QuickBooks EnterpriseProven success in identifying and implementing process improvementsFamiliarity with financial systems integration and reporting workflowsWhy You’ll Love Working HereBe part of something premium: Work with the nation’s leader in smart home integrationCollaborative culture: A fun, supportive team that celebrates wins togetherGrowth opportunities: Gain exposure to the luxury design/build community and grow your career in salesCompetitive perks: Base salary + bonuses, medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, and moreReady to Join BRAVAS?If you’re hungry to grow, love being out in the field, and are excited about bringing luxury experiences to life, we’d love to meet you.
