Job Title: Accounts Payable SpecialistLocation: Peachtree CornersJob Type: Full-TimeJob Summary: We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist with a keen eye for detail and a passion for accuracy. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and verify invoices & AIA, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policiesManage the accounts payable ledger, including coding, batching, and entering invoices into the accounting systemReconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies promptlyPrepare and process electronic transfers and paymentsAssist in month-end closing proceduresCollaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve payment issuesEnsure adherence to internal controls and company policiesDistribute IRS Form 1099 for all appropriate vendors at year endReview and process utility bills for each of units under construction to ensure no disconnects are processed on our accountsQualifications:Associate’s degree in accounting or relevant work experience3 years of experience in accounts payable, construction experience preferredProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Why Join McKinley Homes?Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Opportunity for career advancement and professional development.A collaborative and supportive work environment.Make a meaningful impact on the communities we build.Powered by JazzHR
