Junior Quantitative Trader, Research

Acheron is a market maker holding a CASP license issued by the AFM in the Netherlands under MiCAr and with passporting in all EU countries. Acheron provides liquidity services to digital asset issuers from their most embryonic stages and throughout their adoption cycle. It is our belief that market inefficiency is one of the factors preventing digital assets from achieving mass adoption. We’re now looking to add a Junior Quant Trader, Research to our team to support our data-driven initiatives and provide market commentary to our clients.

In this role, you will work directly with the broader trading team and proprietary leads to optimize trading strategies for issuers, VCs, and funds. You will receive hands-on training from senior members of our trading team, gaining deep exposure to digital asset trading and liquidity strategies.

What You Will Be DoingSupporting the backend build of a structured data room for both internal and external useLeading and contributing to research initiatives that inform market strategy and client advisorySupporting the deployment of new algorithms, clients, and marketsMonitoring and responding to trading alertsAssisting with active tradingAssisting with trade executionAssisting with asset rebalancingHelping to keep track of client treasury balancesProviding recurring and ad-hoc trading reports to clientsResponding to client questions, escalating questions to senior tradersSkills and ExperienceBachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related technical fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen interest in trading and market structureBasic understanding of digital asset marketsStrong attention to detail and ability to make decisions under pressureExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishProficiency in Python, SQL, or another programming language is a plusA proactive, self-driven mindset with the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced trading environmentPrior experience in market making, trading, or execution services is a plusOur Recruitment PhilosophyLeadership, trustworthiness, and reputation are at the core of Acheron Trading’s DNA.
