Working under the guidance of a Project manager, the Acting Resident Engineer will oversee project management, construction supervision, and field investigations at renewable energy and hydropower project sites. Responsibilities include coordinating project activities, ensuring quality assurance, conducting technical evaluations, and collaborating with stakeholders to address engineering challenges and ensure operational success. This short term role in a small hydropower project will be an excellent opportunity to serve, learn and grow in the thriving hydropower industry of Nepal.QualificationsProficiency in project management, construction supervision, and relevant hydropower industry practicesExperience with field investigations, topographical surveys, and operational support in hydropower projectsExcellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilitiesBachelor's degree in civil engineering; a master's degree is an advantagePrior experience in hydropower projects for 3 years or moreAbility to work site-based in a hydropower construction project site and adapt to field conditionsNote: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
