Together.Job Objective / PurposeEmergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) are trained to provide emergency medical care in pre-hospital settings (like ambulances, accident sites, or during transport to hospitals)Duties And ResponsibilitiesRespond promptly to emergency calls and provide immediate medical assistance.Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history.Deliver Basic Life Support (BLS) such as CPR, AED operation, airway management, and bleeding control.Stabilize injuries through splinting, bandaging, and spinal immobilization.Safely transport patients to medical facilities while monitoring their condition.Communicate clearly with hospitals, paramedics, and other emergency personnel regarding patient status and care provided.Additional ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate and detailed patient care reports and maintain medical records.Ensure ambulance readiness through routine vehicle inspections, equipment checks, and supply restocking.Collaborate effectively with paramedics, nurses, doctors, firefighters, and law enforcement during emergencies.Maintain professional conduct, compassion, and composure in high-stress situations.QualificationsCandidate must be a registered EMTAt least two (2) years of experience in serving as a medic.
