The TIPCS is a think-do tank that promotes peace and conflict studies, peaceful alternatives to conflict and peace efforts in the nation.
Since 2016, TIPCS has been building trust in the southern shore of the Mediterranean Sea, strengthening youth involvement within the decision-making process and post Arab revolutions structural reforms. TIPCS has been working with key partners to resolve real conflict issues and present solutions based on dialogue. We believe that even if conflicts are inevitable, collateral damage can be limited and even controlled through educational activities and the dissemination of the culture of peace.
The TIPCS, by advancing integrated and local solutions, varies its staff, which includes experts in the fields of health, education, nutrition, environment, economic development, civil society, gender, youth, research, technology, etc. , a unique blend of capabilities to meet today's interrelated development challenges. TIPCS is currently seeking a dynamic Administration and Finance Officer to join our Environmental Studies Department in Monastir, providing comprehensive administrative and financial support to the CEO and organizational operations while contributing to Mediterranean peace-building initiatives.

Job Details: Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the CEO, the Administration and Finance Officer will be responsible for: - Executive and Administrative Support:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CEO, including calendar management, travel coordination, and meeting preparationServe as primary liaison between CEO and internal/external stakeholders, government officials, and international partnersMaintain organizational filing systems, prepare official reports, and ensure compliance with legal requirements under Decree-Law 2011-88Coordinate communication between TIPCS offices (Tunis, Monastir, Djerba) and manage inter-departmental workflowsOversee daily operations of the ESD office and coordinate with Legal, IT, and Audit departmentsPrepare and manage official correspondence in Arabic, French, and EnglishSupport organizational events, workshops, conferences, and stakeholder meetings- Financial Management and Compliance:
Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial reporting across multiple donor-funded initiativesAssist in grant application processes, ensure compliance with donor requirements (EU, UN, bilateral donors)Maintain financial documentation and coordinate with Expert-Comptable (CTHS) and Audit teams (JAC)Handle procurement processes, supplier relationships, and payment processingPrepare monthly financial summaries and support annual audit processesManage fiscal compliance and social documentationCoordinate with banking institutions and maintain organizational accounts- Project Coordination and Stakeholder Management:
Support implementation of Mediterranean peace-building projects affecting 25,000+ targeted beneficiariesFacilitate communication between project teams, academic partners, and community stakeholdersMaintain beneficiary databases, project tracking systems, and impact measurement toolsAssist in managing partnerships with international institutions and government entitiesCoordinate field visits, monitoring activities, and evaluation processesSupport grant reporting and donor communications- Strategic and Research Support:
Assist in policy research and analysis on Mediterranean conflict dynamics and youth engagementSupport preparation of research publications, policy briefs, and organizational reportsContribute to strategic planning processes and organizational development initiativesRepresent TIPCS at selected meetings, conferences, and networking eventsSupport digital communication strategies and social media managementAssist in knowledge management and organizational learning activitiesPreferred Qualifications: TIPCS is looking for a dynamic individual with exceptional organizational and communication skills as well as a commitment to peace-building and social impact: - Education and Professional Background:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, International Relations, Public Administration, or related field0-3 years professional experience (fresh graduates and early career professionals encouraged to apply)Experience in NGO/civil society organizations, international development, or public sector preferredKnowledge of Tunisian legal and administrative frameworks advantageous- Language and Communication Skills: Fluent in Arabic and French (native or near-native level required)Strong English communication skills (minimum B2 level, C1 preferred)Excellent written and verbal communication abilitiesExperience in cross-cultural communication and international environments- Technical and Digital Skills:
