FVIP AssociateReports to: Client Relations ManagerHourly/ Non-ExemptFull Time 37.5 hours/weekPay range: $15-17/hourPosition Summary:The FVIP Associate plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of Compass of Carolina’s clinical and Family Violence Intervention Program (FVIP) departments. This position ensures timely contact with new referrals, professional communication with referral partners, and compassionate assistance to clients as they move through the intake and participation process. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, bilingual (English/Spanish), and comfortable working with diverse client populations, including those with a criminal record, with professionalism, dignity, and respect.Key Responsibilities:Referral Coordination· Conducts preliminary intake inquiries and coordinates Family Violence Intervention Program (FVIP) and Counseling appointments.· Contacts new referrals within 24 business hours of receipt.· Communicates with partners and referral sources (case workers, counselors, probation officers, court coordinators, etc.) to verify or clarify referral information.· Follows up with all referrals to ensure timely movement through the intake process.· Keeps the Client Relations Manager informed of referral statuses and any concerns.Client Communication & Support· Communicates directly with clients to assist with general program questions.· Answers questions about attendance, assists clients with payments, and troubleshoots technical issues as needed.· Escalates client concerns to the Client Relations Manager when appropriate.· Demonstrates professionalism, empathy, and respect when working with all clients, including offender populations.Data & Reporting· Documents all client activity in the organization’s client database.· Assists in gathering data for monthly progress reports for partners and referral sources.· Inputs and maintains monthly activity reports for data collection.· Ensures client records, attendance logs, and account balances are accurate and up to date.Team & Administrative Support· Assists in organizing and maintaining the accuracy of all client data and files.· Collaborates with staff and managers to ensure consistent and efficient program operations.· Performs other related duties as assigned to support agency goals and departmental needs.Qualifications:· Bilingual (English and Spanish) — fluent in both languages, written and verbal.· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.· Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability.· Comfortable and professional on the phone and in person.· Experience working with confidential client information and maintaining data integrity.· Proficiency with computer systems, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.· Professional, empathetic, and committed to Compass of Carolina’s mission of Providing Compassionate Direction.
